News : Dayton Public Schools Manning Busy Call Center
Dayton, OH, August 14, 2014 -- Operators are very busy at the Dayton public school call center, they say parents are calling in with lots of questions.
Mychelle Brown, the call center manager told us the center opens from 6 AM to 6 PM and never slows down, she says on average they receive 700 to 800 calls every day.
Parents want to know things like what time their child's school bus will arrive, what bus number their child will ride, what time their child's school starts and what time their child's school ends.
The Friday before school starts was a particularly busy day at the Dayton public school call center by 1 o'clock they'd already had more than 400 calls from parents.
