News : DG Rangers Visits CPLC Call Centre
Karachi, Pakistan, Jan 29, 2016 -- Pakistan Rangers Sindh Director General major general Bilal Akbar on Thursday made a surprise visit to the citizens police liaison committee (CPLC) reporting cell at Governor House to witness the working, utility and functionality of the CPLC’s upgraded 24/7 call centre.
The CPLC Sindh chief Zubair Habib briefed DG Rangers about the extensive use of upgraded software and hardware for answering more than 30500 calls per day.
The DG Rangers appreciated the launch of CPLC call centre short code which is accessible from all over Pakistan from all cellular numbers. He was briefed that the CPLC call centre handles calls related to emergencies, enquiries, problem solving cases of the citizens.
With the allocation of new helpline code, the CPLC has further simplified and extended its reach to the citizens in need of help and assistance. The concern citizens can now reach CPLC for redress of their grievances by dialling this short code from landline as well as any mobile.
