News : Dial DHA for Medical Queries
Dubai, July 14, 2014 -- Do you want to know more about available medical services and health facilities in Dubai? All you need to do is dial toll-free.
In operation for the last two years, this multilingual call centre set up by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has received more than 329,000 queries since its launch in 2011. Calls from UAE residents for specific and general health queries are answered by the service within six seconds. Only five per cent of the calls went unanswered, according to DHA authorities.
Giving more information about the service, Shaikha Al Rahoumi, Director of Customer Relations at the DHA, said: " The DHA considers the call centre to be an important point of contact for its customers and we have 13 representatives who speak five languages — Arabic, English, French, Hindi and Persian."
DHA is expecting heightened traffic on this toll-free number as more and more customers have made it a point to enquire about facilities and services before taking important medical decisions.
