News : Doctors, Advocates Being Roped In for Hindu Helpline
Jhunsi, India, Oct 26, 2015 -- Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Pravin Togadia announced expansion of Hindu helpline and healthline network by roping in more and more prominent doctors and advocates.
Speaking at the end of the review meet for assessing the functioning and achievements of Hindu Helpline at Sadaphal Ashram in Jhunsi on Sunday, the VHP leader informed the helpline had catered to nearly one lakh callers from different parts of the country in its four years of existence.
He said around 40,000 Hindus in the country were not able to afford expensive medical treatment for which the helpline was providing a network of doctors in different parts of the country besides would also organize medical camps in every district of the country wherein free medical advice besides treatment including blood tests, MRI, CT Scan, Ultrasound, etc facilities were being provided on cheaper rates.
Around 40 doctors from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) had already joined the helpline network and were active in providing services to callers besides medical practitioners of the community serving in renowned hospitals of the country had also joined the helpline network.
Referring to roping in of advocates belonging to Hindu community, the VHP leader said thousands of advocates had already joined the Hindu helpline network and were providing free legal aid to members of Hindu community.
Further, Togadia said through the helpline, lodging, boarding facilities for Hindus travelling to different parts of the country at nominal rates besides other facilities were also being arranged by VHP workers for members of the Hindu community.
