News : DStv Call Centre Upgrade Underway
Jan 24, 2014 -- MultiChoice is busy upgrading its call centre, the pay TV platform operator recently confirmed to MyBroadband.
"We constantly invest in our customer experience and do upgrades every year," a spokesperson for MultiChoice said.
The spokesperson said that the inbound call centre infrastructure is being upgraded to a "UIP platform" [Unified IP] from a LAN-based system.
According to MultiChoice, the UIP system is expected to offer better queue management for the call centre.
"This should have a positive impact on the customer experience in our call centre," MultiChoice said.
