News : Dutch ISPs Vary Widely in Customer Service Availability
Amsterdam, Netherlands, June, 2017 -- Customer service numbers are often difficult to find on the websites on Dutch ISPs, making them hard to reach, according to research by Telefoonboek.nl. It compared six providers of multi-play packages on how easy it is to find the number, how quickly someone picks up at customer service and the functionality of the IVR menu.

While phone numbers may be found in a reasonable amount of time, the menus are sometimes very complicated (such as at XS4ALL) and waiting times can be long, especially at Ziggo, ranging from 2-8 minutes. Ziggo and XS4ALL scored well in finding numbers of their websites, while three clicks were needed to find the numbers at T-Mobile, KPN and Tele2, and especially the last two were difficult. At the new provider NLE, a contact number could not be found on the website.
Tele2 had the shortest wait time on its customer service line, with most often someone picking up within seven seconds. XS4ALL also was relatively quick.
