Carmel, IN, and Santa Monica, CA, USA, Sept , 2019 -- Edify Labs, a software company that manages customer engagement and cross-team collaboration, announced the appointment of marketing veteran Candace Sheitelman to the position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Sheitelman brings more than two decades of marketing expertise to the company, much of that focused on the contact center and customer experience (CX) space.
"In addition to being highly endorsed by the top thought leaders in our industry, Candace has been a perfect fit into the culture of Edify from day one. We are seeking the best people in their fields who share a common belief that ‘enough is enough’ and CX software needs to be more than smoke-in-mirrors product demos and meaningless acquisitions," said Cameron Weeks, co-founder and CEO of Edify Labs. "Candace agrees it's time for real change from real technological innovation. I speak for all of Edify in saying we could not be more pleased to have her on the team!"
As Edify CMO, Sheitelman will lead strategic marketing for the company, reporting to Weeks.
"We’re all customers, so we know how bad those experiences can be. But it doesn’t have to be that way anymore. The Edify platform is poised to upend an entire industry and I’m thrilled to be part of the team making that happen," Sheitelman said. "I believe in the technology, the thinking, the founders and the opportunity that lies ahead. If you have customers, this technology will change everything."
Before joining Edify, Sheitelman ran her own marketing communications firm, Fred Marketing, Inc. Here she conceptualized and oversaw the creation and execution of countless demand generation and brand initiatives for a variety of B2B and B2C clients across industries including technology, customer experience, business services, real estate, and travel & leisure. Prior to Fred Marketing, Sheitelman ran global marketing at Aspect Software, a contact center software company.
