News : Egypt Offers One of Cheapest Technical Support, Call Centres
Cairo, Egypt, June 24, 2015 -- Egypt is considered one of the countries offering the cheapest cost of call centre services and outsourcing, according to a report released by Avasant, a global management consulting firm.
The cost of call centre services in Egypt ranges from $14,800 to $16,100 annually, while in Poland, the most expensive in terms of cost, is estimated at $25,000 to $28,000. Mexico comes as the second most expensive, where the cost of the services is at $23,000 to $27,000, followed by Morocco with a cost of $15,400 to $16,400.
The report indicates that Egypt offers good technical support services and communication services, thanks to its manpower who can speak six European languages. Another important factor is Egypt’s low service costs compared to other countries such as Morocco, where the service cost is 30% higher than Egypt, and East European countries, where the service cost is 40% higher. Another factor is Egypt’s closeness to Europe zone, as the time difference between Egypt and the European countries where it provides technical support services to its clients is large.
In terms of the cost of technical support services, Egypt acquired second place, as the service cost was between $15,400 and $17,300. The first place went to India, where the service cost is from $15,800 to $16,600. The most expensive country was Mexico where the service cost was estimated at $26,800 to $31,200. The second most expensive country was Poland where the cost of the services reached $27,300 to $30,200, followed by Morocco with service cost at $27,300 to $30,200.
