New Delhi, India, Feb 23, 2021 -- The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) launched a WhatsApp helpline number for grievance redressal of grievances of its subscribers. This facility is in addition to various other means of grievance redressal forums of EPFO which include EPFiGMS portal, CPGRAMS, and a dedicated 24x7 call center.
This initiative allows the PF subscribers to interact directly with EPFO’s regional offices at a personalized level adhering to the one-to-one guidance principle. Dedicated WhatsApp helpline numbers of all regional offices are available on the homepage of EPFO's official website. The helpline is an attempt to further strengthen the direct channel of communication between EPFO and its subscribers amid the pandemic.
The facility allows customers to raise queries and grievances from home, reducing the need to physically visit EPFO's offices. Check here the step-by-step guide for users to use EPFO WhatsApp-based service.
How to use EPFO WhatsApp-based service:
Go to EPFO’s website.
Now look for the dedicated WhatsApp Helpline number of your concerned regional office.
Then save the number on your smartphone, and open the chat on WhatsApp.
Write your query or grievance and tap on send option.
Note: You will receive an answer regarding your grievance from the EPFO.
The WhatsApp helpline service is functional in all the 138 regional EPFO offices. Each regional office has a different WhatsApp Helpline number. So, it is essential to know the regional office you have your EPF account.
