News : Even with Challenges, IQor Looks to Expand in T&T
Barataria, Trinidad & Tobago, Sept, 2017 -- Business process outsourcing (BPO) company, iQor, is promising to bring huge job opportunities to Trinidad and Tobago. The Florida-based company currently employs about 600 mostly young people locally and plans to top this figure up by 200 before the end of the year.
IQor’s vice president, Operations, Terri Robertson, noted that the company currently services four clients from its two locations in Trinidad—telecoms companies Sprint and Metro PCS, electronic commerce and cloud computing provider Amazon.com and floral and gourmet foods gift retailer and distribution company 1-800-Flowers.
IQor’s director of Operations, John Swain, said iQor has the potential make that many jobs available in Trinidad and Tobago. Recognised as one of the world’s leading providers of business process outsourcing and product support services, iQor opened its first call centre in the Caribbean at the Tamana InTech Park in Wallerfield, in 2015.
