News : FCR is Bringing Hundreds of Jobs to Great Falls
Great Falls, MT, USA, Sept 14, 2016 -- Most of the Strain Building on the 400 block along Central Avenue has remained commercially vacant up until now, when Great Falls Development Authority officials announced the arrival of a new call center through First Call Resolution, who will be leasing the 35,000 square ft.space.
First Call Resolution, or FCR, provides customer service to industries in technology, healthcare and other areas of the economy with outsourced, live agents in call centers to aid in areas like business processing and social networking.
Great Falls Development Authority officials say the company was looking to branch out into another state when executives discovered Great Falls.

"They were just so struck by Great Falls being a friendly, helpful community that they knew that they would find the employees for their business and that's just a great testament to our community," said GFDA Vice President Jolene Schalper.
After more than a year of traveling to the area and working with partners and investors in Great Falls, officials say FCR is getting ready to make their arrival a reality.
The center will create around 325 new jobs for the city.
GFDA officials say those jobs will benefit all aspects of the city, especially after Asurion closed its 348-person call center last year after operating for nearly two decades in Great Falls.
Officials say the addition of FCR also opens up employment possibilities to area residents in the future.
"The company promotes from within so these are great jobs for Great Falls, because these people have a chance to move up in these roles - starting wage is decent, benefits are great, it's a great working environment, we're really excited," said Schalper.
The company website already has several job openings listed, including Human Resources Director, Site Director, and Information Technology Manager; the starting date for those positions is listed as October 24, 2016.
GFDA officials estimate the call center will open in the downtown area in early 2017.
FCR company executives will be visiting Great Falls through the end of the week, touring the Strain Building and meeting with GFDA officials to begin the transition.
