News : Fiji Operators to Power Child Helpline Service
Dec 5, 2014 -- Digicel Fiji, Telecommunication Fiji and Vodafone Fiji have signed a memorandum of understanding with the Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Ministry, and the Medical Service Pacific.
The three operators will provide a communication network to children who need advice or assistance through the Child Helpline service. The child helpline service will assist children around the country in calling in to the centre for immediate advice on various issues they are facing.
Callers will use a short code toll free phone number to contact the helpline.
