News : Flint Job Fair Boasts Chance to Make Up to $13.50-an-hour in Lansing
Flint, MI, USA, April 11, 2016 -- Individuals with disabilities and a desire to work for a military manufacturing company are invited to a job fair.
Peckham, Inc. plans to partner with the Disability Network in Flint and the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce to host the job information session for individuals with disabilities at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, 200 E. First St.
The jobs are with Peckham's Manufacturing division and incoming contact center in Lansing. Group transportation to and from the jobs is available, according to a news release.
Peckham's Manufacturing division makes clothing for the military. The company also makes clothes for companies such as New Balance and Patagonia.
The full and part-time jobs start at $8.50 per hour and can go up to $13.50 per hour for increased skills, the company said in a statement.
