News : Fonality Issued Patent for Presence Management Technology
Dallas, TX, May 15, 2014 -- Fonality, a provider of business phone systems and integrated communications solutions designed to reduce the friction that slows business momentum, announces that it has been issued a U.S. patent for the centralized presence management of local and remote users used in its popular Heads Up Display application.

Historically, business phone system vendors only monitored on-site phone availability – whether or not someone was on their phone. But Fonality’s expanded presence management technology, built into its Heads Up Display, allows business managers to see if employees are at their computers, on their desk phone, mobile phone, on a conference call, taking a call center queue call, or doing something else – regardless of whether or not they are in the "main office" or working remotely.
