News : Fremont County Sets Up COVID-19 Call Center Information Hotline

#contactcenterworld

Fremont County, CO, USA, March, 2020 -- The COVID-19 Call Center Information Hotline will be staffed by my Fremont County Emergency Operations Center Team in the EOC.

Fremont County Emergency Manager Mykel Kroll said this is necessary due to the large call volume that is being received in Fremont County Department of Public Health and Environment and Emergency Management for all of the general questions regarding COVID-19.

"This will also be a place for FRECOM to have the public call so the FRECOM Dispatch Center is not tied up with the general information calls and can perform their dispatching duties easier," Kroll said. "This will be a call center for general information on Fremont County COVID-19 response and support, general protective measures, differences between isolation and quarantine, questions, and answers for the citizens of Fremont County."

Calls will also be answered and transferred for specific questions for FCDPHE and directed to the Public Health Director and EPR and Communicable Disease Coordinator.

The Fremont County COVID-19 Information HOTLINE phone number is 719-276-7421.
