News : Frontier Closing St. Charles County Call Center, Laying Off 141
St. Charles County, MO, USA Aug, 2017 - Broadband provider Frontier Communications is closing a call center and training support facility in Weldon Spring and laying off 141 employees as part of a companywide restructuring.
The layoffs will occur between Oct. 16 and and Oct. 20, the Norwalk, Conn.-based company said in a layoff notice to state officials, which is required by the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.
The affected employees include consumer sales consultants, supervisors and training specialists. Some of the laid off employees are represented by the Communications Workers of America, Local Union 6300, according to the layoff notice.
