News : Frontier Communications Adding Bi-Lingual Customer Service
New Haven, CO, Dec 11, 2014 -- Frontier Communications Corporation [NASDAQ:FTR] will add 25 employees to its Connecticut call center to provide support for Frontier residential products and services, handling calls primarily from Spanish-speaking customers across the country as well as calls in English.
The 25 new jobs will be based at Frontier’s East Region Headquarters at 310 Orange Street in New Haven and filled in early 2015. These jobs are in addition to the 85 jobs previously announced. Following an extensive training program, the bi-lingual customer representatives will be responsible for providing customer care to Frontier’s Spanish-speaking customers, including assisting customers with billing, service and product inquiries. In Connecticut, Latinos represent 15 percent of the population and over the last decade the Latino population has increased significantly.

In announcing the new positions, Paul Quick, Frontier’s Senior Vice President and General Manager for Connecticut stated, "A culturally diverse workforce is critical to a great customer experience.
