News : Frontier Communications to Hold Job Fair in New Haven
New Haven, CT, USA, Aug 11, 2016 -- Frontier Communications will hold a job fair in New Haven at the end of August. The event will be held Wednesday at the company’s East Region Headquarters at 310 Orange Street.
The announcement of the job fair comes days after Altice USA, Cablevision’s parent company, said it will be closing its Shelton call center and Stratford office, moving 600 jobs out of Connecticut.

"It’s important to note that during this economically precarious time in Connecticut with companies leaving and laying off employees, Frontier is growing our workforce and investing in our networks by upgrading our already superior customer experience here in Connecticut every day," Frontier East Region President Ken Arndt said in a news release. "We encourage people who may have recently lost a job to attend the job fair and connect with us in-person."
Frontier says it’s looking to fill many open positions in Connecticut, including sales and service technicians, call center supervisors, and sales consultants. It says recruiters will be available to meet with potential candidates. Anyone interested should bring their resume.
