News : General Dynamics Hosting Job Fairs for Customer Service Positions
Salt Lake City, Oct. 16 2014 -- General Dynamics Information Technology will host daily job fairs to hire temporary customer service representatives. Candidates with bilingual language skills, particularly English and Spanish, are strongly encouraged to apply.
The events are at General Dynamics' Sandy location, 8475 S. Sandy Parkway.
The company is conducting the fairs to support its growing contact center operations, according to a statement. Temporary, full-time customer service representative positions — with paid training — will be filled immediately.
The positions handle inbound telephone calls and do not require selling or collections. The company offers full benefits and pays 10 percent more for hours worked between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., along with an additional 10 percent to certified bilingual employees.
Recruiters and hiring managers will be present at job fairs to discuss current openings as well as candidates' background and experience, with some qualified applicants extended offers on the spot.
