Toronto, ON, Canada, May 15, 2019 -- Globalfaces Direct Inc. ("GFD"), a provider of outsourced fundraising solutions, has named Carolyn Soro its new Vice President of Customer Success. In this capacity, Carolyn will be responsible for leading all of GFD’s customer facing resources and will have a broad mandate to deliver donor acquisition and retention services for GFD’s not-for-profit partners.
"Carolyn’s experience leading one of Canada’s largest not-for-profit monthly donor acquisition program, coupled with her customer success pedigree and deep, multi-channel marketing experience makes her the ideal leader for our Customer Success function here at GFD," said Chief Executive Officer Naseem Saloojee.
"In working with Carolyn for the past 5 years as her client, I can think of no not-for-profit leader with a better understanding of the monthly donor acquisition and retention cycle or how not-for-profits can maximize monthly recurring revenue," said co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Matthew Davison.
Most recently, Carolyn led Direct and Digital Acquisition for Plan International Canada, where she oversaw the country’s leading monthly donor acquisition program. Previously, Carolyn held a range of marketing and customer service leadership roles with UNICEF and Bell Canada.
"I’m excited about the opportunity to lead the next chapter of Globalfaces Direct’s work with leading not-for-profit organizations," said Carolyn, "with an exceptional team and the strongest field fundraising force in North America, the sky's the limit in terms of how well GFD can deliver value for its clients."
