News : Government Takes Cue from GK Initiative, Starts Helpline
Srinagar, India, July 26, 2016 -- Days after Greater Kashmir started a helpline (GK Helpline) for Kashmiris putting up outside J&K to convey their messages to their relatives and families here, the J&K government on Monday came out with helpline numbers and asked people to contact Deputy Commissioners of their native districts in case they need any help or assistance. The GK helpline evoked tremendous response, instantly.
"The residents of Jammu and Kashmir working outside the state and the students hailing from the state, studying in various parts of the country, have been asked to contact the Deputy Commissioners of their native districts in case they need of any help or assistance," an official spokesman said on Monday.

"Asalamualaikum, Kindly help in this critical moment. I talked to my widow mother 15 days before. She suffers from couple of chronic diseases and I don't even know if she has medicine or not.
