News : Greenock Company Show a Uniform Approach
Greenock, Scotland, Sept 5, 2016 -- Generous workers at a Greenock call centre have helped Inverclyde children get back to school with new uniforms.
Webhelp donated £200 to the Back to School Bank, which was swamped this year with a rise in the number of people desperate for help.
The volunteers who run the bank said they were very grateful to Webhelp for their support.
Inverclyde MP Ronnie Cowan also went along for the cheque presentation, and praised the volunteers for their work.
He said: "A lot of people have been willing to dip into their pockets to help this worthy cause."
Webhelp’s 270 staff in Greenock contribute money every week from their pay for good causes, and this is matched by the business.
Mark Stevenson, head of service, said: "We wanted to support this charity because it is such a worthy cause."
