News : GU to Set Up Course Helpline for Students
Ahmedabad, India, June 6, 2016 -- The Gujarat University will soon set up a round-the-clock helpline to solve the various issues of the students. This helpline will be different from the already existing anti-ragging helpline, said GU officials.
The University Grant Commission in a directive issued recently asked all universities to set up a helpline for giving education guidance to students and help them verify their documents before the admission procedure. The helpline will also extend assistance to students heading abroad for studies. The helpline will also provide guidance on courses offered by the university.

The UGC has directed universities that the helpline has to be started before the start of the next academic session. "We have received the UGC circular and will soon begin the process of setting up this helpline," said a GU official.
