News : Hapag-Lloyd Appoints The Cruise Line to Manage Direct Call Centre
August 13, 2014 -- Hapag-Lloyd has appointed agent The Cruise Line to operate and manage its direct call centre and marketing function in the UK.
The company is already an agent for a number of other cruise operators, and has now created a dedicated number, which is active and answered as Hapag-Lloyd Cruises UK.
The Cruise Line will also maintain and market a specific consumer campaign website for Hapag-Lloyd’s Europa 2, with plans to develop a comprehensive marketing approach for the UK.
Michael Steffl, international sales manager for Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, said: "As part of our strategy, we have identified the United Kingdom and Ireland as a priority, international target market.
"The Cruise Line is well set up to represent emerging products and new brands. We believe our respective businesses are well aligned to help us secure the future growth we anticipate over the coming years.
