The San Antonio-based Harte Hanks recently announced 73 people will lose their jobs at a Texarkana location. It was the second round of layoffs at that location in 14 months. Last year, the company previously announced more than 400 employees there would be laid off because of changes in the services the company provides to a client.
Harte Hanks was formerly known as a call center but it is now referred to as a contact center, which handles emails, chats and social media as well.
