News : Haryana Discoms Want to Ensure Prompt Complaint Redressal
Chandigarh, Dec 25, 2013 -- Haryana discoms have directed sub-divisional officers and executive engineers of operation wings to remain present in office from 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM daily to ensure prompt redressal of consumer complaints.
The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam have taken the decision to address people’s problems related to billing and commercial issues.
Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Managing Director Anurag Agarwal said here on Wednesday that the management has observed that the complaints of consumers relating to billing have increased nowadays. "In view of addressing the complaints of consumers, the Discoms have issued such directives to the officers in field," he said.
The officers have been asked to pay more attention towards the complaints of billing and commercial issues, he said.
The complaints relating to billing received at Call Centre will be put in the Computerised Grievance Redressal System (CGRS) of the Discoms, he said.
