News : Havells Sets Up South Specific Call Centre
Chennai, India, Nov 5, 2015 -- To strengthen its foothold in the southern market, Havells India has set up a south specific call centre in Chennai to offer assistance to customers in local language.
It is the second call centre of Havells with 20 seats and would cater to customers of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in local languages in addition to English and Hindi. The first call centre is located in Gurgaon and has 80 seats. Briefing reporters, A. V. Jagdish, Vice-President, Havells India, said: "This will not only provide greater convenience, but will also lead to higher customer satisfaction. Currently, 90 per cent of calls received in Gurgaon centre are attended within 24 hours and we want to increase it to 100 per cent."
The company also rolled out switchgear products — automatic changeover with current limiter and new generation circuit breakers
