News : Helpline for Power Complaints Launched
Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, Sept 4, 2014 -- District magistrate Roshan Jacob launched a helpline for Kanpurites where they can lodge complaints against any power fault. Upon lodging the complaint, the complainant will immediately get a message with a complaint number for future reference.
The information would also be passed to the concern Kesco official. As soon as the fault would be attended, the complainant will get a message of the update of the same. District magistrate Roshan Jacob at the time of inauguration of control room said this facility could be availed through BSNL land line or mobile numbers. However, mobile users of other networks may use the toll free number.The district magistrate said that call center has started with nine seats and it would soon be extended upto 30 seats.
