News : Helpline for Students Soon
Raipur, Dec 23, 2014 -- Board of secondary education will soon introduce a toll-free helpline number for students appearing for board examination.
Counsellors, psychiatrists and educationists would provide assistance to students to deal with exam stress through this helpline. As soon as the timetable is announced, the helpline number would start functioning across state for students of class X and XII. Beside counseling and problem solving, students can inquire details about timetable, migration certificate, duplicate mark sheet as well. The number will work throughout the week on working days from morning 10am to 5pm. Officials said that last year, the helpline number received over 800 calls everyday.

"During and before exams, students go through lot of mental trauma. Cases of suicide or under performance due to stress were also reported in last few years. Helpline number is a tool for confidence building among them," an official said.
