News : Helpline Relief in Online Fraud
Kolkata, India, April 5, 2016 -- If you fall victim to online fraud, you don't have to do the harried rounds of police stations.
The detective department's bank fraud section has come out with a helpline (8585063104), where victims can lodge complaints. The officers at the help desk will direct victims to the officers concerned and guide them about the steps they need to follow to stop further damage even before the FIR is formally lodged.
The CID's anti-fraud section is likely join them soon.
