News : HGS Europe Plans 200 New Call Centre Jobs in Selkirk
Selkirk, Scotland, Sept 9, 2015 -- An Indian-owned company has announced plans to create 200 new call centre jobs in the Scottish Borders, as part of an expansion drive.
HGS Europe, which is part of Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd, said the Selkirk-based roles would include customer service and technical helpdesk roles.
A further 300 jobs are to be created at HGS's site in Preston, Lancashire.
HGS Europe chief executive Matthew Vallance said: "The creation of these 500 new roles across our sites in Preston and Selkirk will provide significant career opportunities in the local areas, and allow us to achieve our growth ambitions.
