News : IDC MarketScape Names IMS Health a Global Leader
Danbury, CT, USA, Oct 27, 2015 -- IMS Health (NYSE:IMS) has been named a global leader in IDC Health Insights’ annual assessment of sales and marketing business process outsourcing (BPO) services available to the life sciences industry. The report, IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Life Science Sales and Marketing BPO 2015 Vendor Assessment, cites IMS Health’s extensive industry expertise relative to other vendors and gives the company high marks for its technical skills.
The IDC MarketScape assessment is based on detailed surveys and vendor interviews, publicly available information and end-user experiences. For purposes of the report, BPO includes outsourcing of all services such as call center, customer support, data analysis, report generation, marketing and sales operations, predictive modeling and research services, sales training, content creation, opportunity assessment, competitive intelligence, knowledge management services, social media analytics and forecasting as a service.
