News : Indian Outsourcing Firm to Hire 500 More Workers at Indiana Center
Fort Wayne, IN, USA, Feb, 2018 -- An India-based company plans to hire another 500 workers at a call center it operates in Fort Wayne.
Intelenet Global Services announced Jan. 23 that it intends to triple its Fort Wayne workforce to at least 750 employees to meet growing customer demand.
The company will also invest to remodel and double its workspace in the northeastern Indiana city, bringing the total number of employees up to 1,500.

Expenses will include upgraded IT infrastructure. The company's previous footprint was 19,000 square feet in the same building.
Pay for entry-level call center positions will average about $23,500 annually. Managers will make about $30,000 a year, according to a Northeast Indiana Works news release. The nonprofit's WorkOne Northeast career centers are screening job applicants.
Vijay Reddy, Intelenet's chief operating officer, said the company has been satisfied with the quality of local workers.
"This facility has played a key role in our operations since it was opened in 2014, and we are now in the process of expanding its infrastructure to meet increasing customer demand," he said in a statement.
The Mumbai, India-based outsourcing company’s North American headquarters are in Fort Wayne.
"As the world becomes more digitally connected, our Fort Wayne delivery center, along with more than 70 other centers we operate worldwide, are critical to providing the growing requirements of various industries in need of business process services," Reddy said.
"We envision that both Intelenet and the city of Fort Wayne will benefit greatly as we work closely together to continue to make this facility a shining example of an ongoing and highly productive partnership," he added.
