News : India's Ozonetel Expands into UAE

Dubai, UAE, Sept, 2018 -- Ozonetel, a provider of cloud telephony solutions in India, said it is continuing its global expansion with its launch in the UAE.

Sagar Rane, general manager – Middle East, Ozonetel, said: "We are very excited about our entry into UAE. This market has very stringent regulatory requirements and our platform has met them all."

"Our cloud contact centre solution, along with KOOKOO APIs, will now also be deployed at the Etisalat Data Center in Dubai," he said.

Ozonetel already has strong presence in India, US and Singapore, said a statement from the company.

Rajiv Bharathan, senior vice president, Ozonetel, said: "Our Dubai expansion is a much-awaited move for many clients who have, or are planning a presence in UAE."

"They plug into the easy-to-scale platform they've always relied upon. With Etisalat as our telecommunication partner, they will be assured both compliance and connectivity," he added.

Ozonetels’ first client in the UAE is Zomato - a Restaurant Finder and Food Delivery App, it said.

Pradyot Ghate, associate vice president, Zomato, said: "Ozonetel has been our cloud telephony partner in India for past eight years."

"We are confident they will continue to build out a robust and scalable platform in the Middle East that will be beneficial to the small and large businesses in the region," he added.

Rane continued: "We have perfected our platform over the past 10 years of providing contact centre solutions in a large and challenging market like India."

"Our platform is full-stack, requires zero Capex and offers seamless CRM and social media integrations. It provides businesses with rich MIS reports which improve end-customer experience, increase agent efficiency, reduce Opex, and evaluate ROI on campaigns. It also offers advanced AI capabilities like speech analytics and enables voice bots," he added.

Rajiv Bharathan, senior vice president, Ozonetel, said: "We can now look forward to expanding in all regions where Etisalat has a presence."

"In the immediate future, this would include more geographies in GCC and South East Asia," he added.
