Little Rock, AK, USA, Nov, 2018 -- The Arkansas Health Insurance Marketplace (AHIM) has expanded its toll-free HelpLine to better assist Arkansans in finding affordable health insurance coverage.

Open enrollment in the state’s My Arkansas Insurance Individual Marketplace started November 1. The program provides health insurance plans for individuals who do not have access to employer-provided insurance and will use the federal enrollment platform on Healthcare.gov .

AHIM’s My Arkansas HelpLine utilizes an approach that combines call-center and Navigator functions and connects consumers with in-person assistance and enrollments to be performed by a qualified agent or broker located in the same area as the consumer.
