News : Interactive Intelligence Appoints New A/NZ Manager
July 7, 2014 -- Software company Interactive Intelligence has appointed former Telstra manager Paul Crump as the new A/NZ manager of business process automation.
The IT veteran, who has also worked for Genesys and Nuance in a career spanning 25 years, will be tasked with growing relationships based on the deployment of the company's Interaction Process Automation.
IPA uses contact centre technologies to capture, prioritise, route, escalate, track and manage each step of a business process lifecycle.
Crump was previously an account director at Nuance Communications, where he led the Telstra account and developed key account strategies to drive new revenue.
Prior to that he has worked as an account director at Genesys. He previously spent more than 20 years at Telstra working for several divisions, including in Telstra business and government, where he was Group Product Manager.
He was also Senior Product Developer – IP Telephony for Telstra’s Network Technology Group, and an Account Executive for Telstra Business Solutions.
Interactive Intelligence, vice president Asia Pacific and Japan, Brendan Maree, said Crump brought the ability to build and lead a highly successful sales operation. "His proficiency in driving successful IT deployments will be an invaluable asset to Interactive Intelligence as we continue to expand our offering in the business process automation market," he said.
