Indianapolis, July 9, 2014 -- Interactive Intelligence Group Inc.’s chief marketing officer, Joe Staples, will depart the company July 30, 2014 to assume a senior marketing position in an unrelated industry.
Staples’ new position will be with a company located in his home state of Utah, affording him more time to spend with family.
Commenting on Staples departure, Dr. Donald E. Brown, Interactive Intelligence founder and CEO said, "I want to thank Joe for his nine years of service and the contribution he has made to the growth of our company. He’s built a great team that I’m confident will continue to successfully execute on our corporate goals as we look for his replacement."
The company has begun an immediate search for a chief marketing officer.
