News : Interactive Intelligence Signs With Amcom
June 10, 2014 -- Interactive Intelligence Group Inc. (Nasdaq: ININ), a global provider of software and services designed to improve the customer experience, has announced that Amcom will resell and deploy its all-in-one IP communications software suite, Customer Interaction Center™ (CIC).
At the same time, Amcom SIP Services have now been validated for interoperability with the Interactive Intelligence all-in-one Contact Centre Platform. This validation will help organisations reduce the costs of purchasing, maintaining and administering additional hardware, equipment and software for their existing PBX. While legacy ISDN services require additional dedicated equipment, SIP Services transform communication to an all IP-based system and can be delivered via an internet connection. By reducing dependency on legacy ISDN services customers have greater flexibility, better cost containment and are far more agile with their telephony requirements.
