News : Ireland’s Life Style Sports Focuses on Customer Engagement with New Mobile App from One iota

Dublin, Ireland, May 22, 2020 -- Life Style Sports, a sports retailer in Ireland with outlets across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, has launched a brand new native mobile app with Manchester based long-term partner One iota, a provider of cloud-based apps.

The team at Life Style Sports has seen growth in its online business in recent years and was keen to continue investment and deliver a shoppable app experience for its customers.

With recent research indicating that mobile apps convert at three times the number of mobile websites, it was a logical move for the retailer to further explore the opportunity to engage with its customers through this channel. The app needed to cover the entire journey from browsing to search and discovery to purchase to after-sales, in addition to offering the best opportunity to utilise dynamic content, enhance the personalisation of the shopping journey for each user and build long term loyalty.

Gordon Newman, go to market director at Life Style Sports, said: "We’re delighted to be working with One iota on developing this mobile app for our customers. Having worked with the team at One iota for several years now, they were the partner of choice for us on this project; particularly given their extensive knowledge of our business, the fast pace of the sportswear market, and the requirements of our digital-savvy customers."
