News : The Results Companies Increases Workforce
Winter Haven, FL, August 7, 2014 -- The Results Companies plans to increase the workforce at its Winter Haven call center by more than double before end of the year.
The company announced it would be adding 250 jobs to its Winter Haven facility, 5300 Recker Highway, which opened in 2010.
Amy Kaufman, vice president of global human resources and talent for The Results Companies, said this particular call center’s performance spurred the company to upgrade the facility.
"We’ve found the people there to be smart and to really care about the work," Kaufman said. "The employee base in Winter Haven has invested a lot in us, so we decided to re-invest in them."
The result is a renovation project that allowed the company to drastically increase its employee base in Winter Haven.
"The center renovation and expansion of our workforce is yet another demonstration of our commitment to our employees and our surrounding community," said Oliver Pietri, operations director for the Winter Haven site, in a statement. "We are happy for the opportunity to welcome more residents into the Results family."
"We didn’t add any square footage, but the renovation made the space more aesthetically pleasing and allowed us to use the space more freely," she said.
The 250 new jobs will comprise customer service positions, including spots for applicants with a state license as a life or health insurance agent.
Kaufman said the salary range for the new positions will be competitive with the market. According to Glassdoor, a website that allows workers to anonymously post salary and other information about employers, the pay for a customer service agent at the Results Companies in the U.S. ranges from $8 to $10 per hour.
The influx of new jobs will bring the total number of workers at the Winter Haven facility to 430. Kaufman said the company hopes to have all 250 positions filled within the next few months.
