News : Irvine Call-Center Operator Expands Into Honduras
April 17, 2014 -- Irvine-based call-center operator Alorica Inc. is opening an office in Honduras to support increasing business opportunities there.
The company said it plans to have about 200 employees in the San Pedro Sula office by the end of this year to cater to its "rapidly growing client base" and increased work for an existing client in the television entertainment sector.
The new office will be headed by Senior Vice President Shawn Stacy and Brian Jeppesen, divisional vice president.
Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Andy Lee said Alorica expects Central America’s "growing economy and skilled, bilingual workforce" to help support its global expansion.
