Moraine, OH, USA, Oct. 30, 2017 -- A nonprofit serving the deaf community has opened a new facility in Moraine, and needs 200 people to fill open positions.
Communication Service for the Deaf, a global nonprofit, is opening a captioning center in Moraine. This is the third facility in the United States for the company. The center opens on Monday, and has immediate positions open for at least 200 captioning assistants.

The captioning assistants handle telephone communication for people who are hard of hearing or have hearing impairments. The assistants use specialized captioned phones that operate on a voice recognition system.
"CSD is thrilled to bring its captioning service center to the Dayton area and especially pleased to offer 200 job opportunities," said Juli Robinson, vice president of CSD’s Global Contact Centers.
CSD will provide qualified candidates with a four-week training program at the Moraine Center located at 2448 W. Dorothy Lane. The nonprofit also has centers in Texas and New York. Interested candidates can apply online.
