News : Job Fair for Atlantic City Call Center Scheduled
Atlantic City, NJ, USA, July 31, 2015 -- A job fair for the new Atlantic City Contact Center will be held.
Applicants will be able to turn in applications for the call center at the Southampton Room at The Claridge Hotel.
The fair will focus on filling the company’s first 50 sales and customer service positions, including two supervisory positions, according to a press release sent out on Friday.
For this round of hiring, the Contact Center is looking for applicants with at least two years of experience working in customer service, and is particularly interested in bi-lingual applicants, with a special emphasis placed on Spanish, Chinese, and French speakers.
The jobs will pay between $12 and $13 per hour, according to the release. William Golden, the Center’s director, told The Press this month that the company will pay for employees’ health benefits, while health insurance will also be available for family members, along with an employee contribution.
The Call Center anticipates hiring a total of about 332 employees by early 2016, and will focus on retail, banking, tech-support, insurance, and other types of business-related calls.
