News : Jobs Boost as Call Centre Firm Reveals Expansion
Sunderland, England, Dec 16, 2015 -- A call centre company is creating at least 50 jobs to continue its growth.
Fusion Contact Centre Services wants more workers for its Sunderland operation.
The company already employs more than 600 people in the city, and bosses say its jobs drive will be followed by more posts in 2016.
Mark Brannen, head of site for Fusion’s Sunderland base, said: "We are recruiting due to the increased volume from our customer base, plus we have new partnerships coming on board.
"We have just extended into our third building and our operation in Sunderland is only going to get bigger."
Councillor Harry Trueman, deputy leader of Sunderland City Council, praised the company.

He added: "I want to congratulate Fusion for putting the spotlight on the hard work that Sunderland’s thriving contact centre does – both for its clients and within the community.
"It is great news the Sunderland offices are recruiting and we look forward to hearing about the company’s further job creation plans for the New Year as it confirms new contracts."
