News : Jobs on Offer at Preston Call Centre
Lancashire, UK, July 17, 2015 -- Carphone Warehouse, which employs almost 1,000 people at its Tulketh Mill base in Ashton is looking to boost its call centre workforce by 80.
Recruitment firm Search Consultancy has been appointed to find the sales staff and said they will focus on finding enthusiastic staff to handle inbound calls from new and existing customers who want to upgrade their phone contracts.
Debbie Caswell, Search Consultancy’s managing director for England, said: "It’s always great to see such a large number of jobs being created and we’re expecting a lot of interest in these posts from people in and around the Preston area.
he recruitment drive is being carried out by Search Consultancy on behalf of professional services provder Capita.
The recruitment period will run through August and September, with the first intake of 45 staff coming on August 10.

Search Consultancy said that self-motivated, polite and friendly people who enjoy helping customers are the ideal candidates for the jobs.
Those taken on will be fully trained before starting to take calls, and will receive support from managers from the moment the start work.
Successful candidates will be handed six-month fixed term contracts, though those who perform well over this period stand a good chance of being taken on permanently.
