Staffordshire, UK, Aug 1, 2016 -- Staffordshire Police is are currently recruiting part-time control room operators.
The position involves working with the contact services centre team at police headquarters, who provide the 24/7 service to communities.

Superintendent Mick Boyle from Staffordshire Police said: "This is a really important role, the operators in the contact centre are the people the public call when they need our help and they make a real impact on the outcome for the caller.
"It's an incredibly interesting and rewarding role, but it does take a special kind of person to do it, and it will interest people who want to make a difference but perhaps don't feel that in their current career.
