News : KDMC Issues Helpline Number for Pothole Complaints in Kalyan-Dombivli City

Kalayan, India, Oct, 2021 - The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) issued a helpline number where citizens can submit complaints against potholes in Kalyan-Dombivli city.

The KDMC officials have claimed that helpline numbers will be operational during working hours of the civic body.

Recently after the rain stopped, KDMC started filling potholes in the city but for convenience of citizens now they have issued helpline number 18002330045 through which citizens can inform about potholes.

Talking to TOI, Sapna Koli, city engineer of KDMC said, "The helpline number will be operational during working hours and upon getting information about the potholes, our team will fix it within 24-48 hours while for roads filled with potholes, resurfacing of road work will take some time."

Koli added, "This year for Rs 15 crore pothole repair work, we have issued a tender below Rs 13.65 lakh to contractors."
