News : Kingdom of Bahrain Wins Two Awards in Seoul
Seoul, June 26, 2014 -- The Kingdom of Bahrain has won two major awards from the United Nations Public Service Award 2014 in Seoul, South Korea.
The National Health Information System - I-Seha - has won the first position in the category of "Enhanced Public Knowledge Management" Systems for West Asia region in recognition of I-Seha System's and its significant contribution in the development of public healthcare in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The system is operated by the National Contact Centre managed by Silah Gulf Company.
The Bahrain E-Government Authority (EGA)'s CEO Mohammed Al-Qaed who led the Kingdom's delegation has received the award on behalf of the National Contact Centre.
Also, the Ministry of Health (MOH)'s Assistant Undersecretary for Training and Planning who led the Ministry of Health's delegation has received the award on behalf of the National Health Information System (I-Seha) during the awards' distribution ceremony at the Korean International Exhibitions Centre (KINEX) in Seoul yesterday in conclusion of the activities and the UN Public Service Awards/Forum 2014.
