News : KP Agriculture Department Establishes Call Centre
Peshawar, Pakistan, Sept, 2018 -- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperative Department have set up a call center where experts would be available to redress public grievances and guide them.
The decision to this effect was taken in a meeting chaired by Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperative, Muhib Ullah Khan on Friday. Call center would remain active from 8: 00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Addressing the meeting, Mohib Ullah Khan emphasized the need to give focus and attention to development of Agriculture and Livestock sector.

He said Pakistan's 25 percent economy depends on agriculture and its improvement would directly benefit the country.
He said that 100 days plan was top priority of the department at the moment and a comprehensive five years developmental plan would also be chalked out.
In the meeting, Dr. Sher Muhammad Director General Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries was appointed focal person for department's 100 days plan.
The meeting among others was attended by Secretary Agriculture, Akbar Khan, Additional Secretary, Shoakat Yousafzai and Vice Chancellor Agriculture University, Noor Payo Khan.
