News : London ‘is Global Centre for Customer Experience’

#contactcenterworld

London, UK, April 3, 2019 -- London is the global leader for senior customer experience (CX) job vacancies, beating the global average by more than 500 per cent.

This is according to research from martech company Feefo, which found that the capital easily beat other major cities including New York, Seattle, and Toronto.

Feefo also found that salaries for senior CX roles are higher in the UK than in its global competitors. A third of the jobs advertised in the UK had salaries of £50,000 or higher, compared with a quarter in the States.

But while London is the global leader, the UK as a whole lags behind other cities when it comes to CX role penetration. The UK has roughly 70 senior CX jobs per million people in the working population, compared with a staggering 316 per million in the States, and 103 per million in Canada.

Commenting on the report, Feefo director of customer success Steph Heasman said: "Customer experience is overtaking price and product as the number one differentiator, and in response to this the CX sector has grown massively in London over recent years.

"The number of senior job opportunities now available is a reflection of the commitment businesses are making to improve the customer journey.

"To drive this forward, businesses must now consider the transformative role of technology, as maximising the customer journey requires insight as well as human resources."
